A Bienal de 2011 foi muito especial pra mim por três motivos: pela primeira vez eu publicava em uma grande editora, fui o terceiro livro mais vendido deles e o primeiro dentre os nacionais, e conheci a Alyson Noel que hoje considero família. Lembro que fomos visitar a feira na primeira quinta, quando só existia editores e livreiros, e deixei o Raphael Draccon na Leya enquanto ia na Novo Século ver meu livro. Na época era a aposta deles (ao contrário do que algumas pessoas confundem, eles não me chamaram para o selo Novos Talentos, mas realmente para o selo principal). Quando estava perto notei que havia uma loira linda no estande do lado e congelei. Era a Alyson, tranquila, acompanhada apenas de seu marido. Sai correndo pela Bienal atrás do Rapha sem acreditar. Sempre admirei muito o trabalho dela e queria demais conhecê-la. Quando voltei para lá (já arrastando o Rapha), me apresentei e eles foram MUITO bacanas. Sério, maravilhosos! Conversamos sobre carreira e ela viu que um de seus livros estava ao lado do meu no estande da Novo Século (ela foi o livro mais vendido deles naquele ano). Trocamos e-mails e tirei minha foto. Um ano depois estava nos Estados Unidos passeando e a Alyson ficou sabendo. Fomos convidados para conhecer a casa dela e depois saímos para jantar. Foi assim que o amor surgiu! Nós nos demos muuuuito bem. No mesmo ano ela lançou pela Leya e fizemos uma tour pelo Brasil. Ela e o Sandy se tornaram grandes amigos e nosso porto seguro. Então em fevereiro de 2014 viemos passar uma semana na casa dela e foi mágico. A conexão que nós temos parece de outra vida, tanto que eles brincam que quando nós olhamos para eles, vemos nosso futuro, ja que as personalidades são muito parecidas. Nesse momento que eu e o Rapha nos olhamos e tomamos a decisão de nos mudarmos. Hoje estamos sendo recebidos por eles aqui em Laguna e vamos postar ainda muitaaaas fotos. Nunca imaginei que uma visita na Bienal fosse mudar tanto a minha vida, mas estou muito feliz de ter encontrado esse grande casal. Sempre falo para a Alyson que a tenho muito como exemplo. Além de uma incrível profissional, é uma pessoa fantástica. E o Sandy é a versão americana e mais velha do Rapha, então é claro que também o amo. Eles são uma das melhores pessoas que já encontrei e é um prazer tê-los ao nosso lado! Muito animada pelos nossos próximos anos juntos! É muito amor por nossa Rainha e Rei Imortal // The 2011 Biennial was very special to me for three reasons: was the first time I published in a major publishing house, I was the third best-selling book of the publisher (being the first Brazilian writer) and because I met Alyson that we consider family. I remember we were visiting the fair and I let Rapha in Leya while I went to see my book. When I was close I noticed a beautiful blonde at another booth and I froze. Alyson was there only with her husband. I freak out and tried to find Rapha to go talk with her. I always admired her work and wanted to meet this amazing person. When I returned dragging Rapha we introduced ourselves and they were VERY nice. Seriously, they were wonderful! We talked about career and she saw that one of her books was next to mine (she was their best-seller that year). We exchanged emails and I took my photo. Next year we were traveling in the United States and Alyson notice. We were invited to her house and then went out to dinner. That’s when the love story really begins! We got along soooo well and it was incredible. In the same year she released a book by Leya and we made tour in Brazil. She and Sandy became great friends and our american family. Then in February 2014 we came to spend a week at her house and it was magical. The connection we have seem from another life. At that moment Rapha and I look at each other and we decided it was the time to move here. Soon after we started the visa and they were an enormous help. Today we are their guests and we couldn’t be happier! We will post further a lot of pictures. I never imagined that a visit to the fair would change so much my life, but I’m very happy to have found this great couple. I always speak to Alyson that I have her as a role model. In addition to an incredible professional she is a fantastic person. The best heart! And Sandy is the american version of Raphael and of course I love him too. They are one of the best people I’ve ever met and it is a pleasure to have them by our side! We are very excited for our next years together! Much love for our Immortal Queen and King!
